How wework together.
Plainly stated, so there is nothing to discover later. These terms sit under every engagement; the written scope for your work sits on top of them and takes precedence where the two differ.
Who you are contracting with
Brandloom Management Services, RC 8188019, registered in Nigeria and operating from Abuja. These terms cover use of this website and the general basis of our engagements.
Scope is always written
No work begins on a conversation alone. Every engagement is set out in writing — what is included, what is not, who leads it, and what it costs. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.
How we bill
Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Projects are invoiced in stages against the written scope. Registrations and similar fixed-fee work are invoiced on instruction, and third-party or government fees are passed on at cost.
What we need from you
Timely decisions, accurate information, and access to the accounts and people the work depends on. Where an engagement stalls for reasons on your side, timelines move accordingly.
Confidentiality
We treat everything we learn about your organisation as confidential, indefinitely. This holds with particular force for royal households, and it survives the end of the engagement.
Ownership and handover
On full payment, the work is yours — records, files, accounts, domains, source and know-how are handed over in your name. We keep the right to describe the work in general terms only, and to name you only with your written consent.
Limits
We do not guarantee particular commercial outcomes, search rankings, or the decisions of registries and third-party platforms. Our liability on any engagement is limited to the fees paid for it.
Ending an engagement
Either side may end a retainer on thirty days written notice. Work completed and costs committed up to that point remain payable, and we will hand over cleanly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We will always attempt to resolve a dispute in conversation before anything else.
